Soul Academy (UM Records, Ready Mix Records, Deep Clicks, Haute Musique) is the house music project of Kieron James, an acoustic drummer from Manchester who turned his attention to production in 2008. Delivering an eclectic mix of electronic music over the last few years, Kieron became much more focused on house during 2014, ending the year with his debut release on deep house label, UM Records. Kieron is currently working on several new tracks and remixes due for release over the coming weeks with a number of labels (DeepWit, Intensive, La Pitti and others). DJ Mixes

Soul Academy’s regular deep and tech house DJ mix, Deeper Show, is available on Mixcloud and iTunes as a podcast. Mixing tracks from labels and producers with whom Kieron is working with deep and tech house classics, more information and track lists for individual Deeper Shows can be found on his website. Soul Academy also has a regular slot on DHR (each Monday at 8pm) and has provided Guest Mixes for many other shows, labels and radio stations.
